My recipe for scones is exceptional and ultra-easy! It's made with healthy, gluten-free ingredients and can be whipped up very quickly. It's simply baked in a glass pie plate. Get creative and experiment with different flavor variations. Make it sweet or savory. The options are limitless! Scones vs. Muffins: What's the difference? Both scones and muffins are considered "quick breads" and often share the same ingredients. However, muffin batter is usually pour-able, while scone batter is quite dense and thick. Muffins are cake-like and scones are more biscuit-like. Muffins are usually round, while scones are often irregular shaped or triangular. Muffins are moist and scones are a somewhat drier and usually accompanied by coffee or tea. Muffins are sweet, while scones can be sweet or savory flavored. There. Now you can impress your friends with new culinary knowledge! Hee, hee. ;-) Basic Scone Recipe - Au Naturale!1. I am always fascinated with the delicious and creative recipes that you develop. This one will fill a huge void in my meal planning. I like the ability to make them sweet or savory. My youngest son and daughter like savory as much as I do, but my husband and oldest son have a sweet tooth. I always have coconut oil or palm shortening in my pantry, but have never used it in icing before. It is amazing how many things you can do with those wonderful products. Thanks to you I am using all the coconut flour I buy, and I am using more of the oil and shortening. I don't know why it took me so long, but better late than never! I am making these today.

Looks delicious Jenny, can you make some in PR in January? I might try before, maybe with cranberries, cinammon and nuts. Love, mom
