This easy-to-make recipe is like regular Sloppy Joes, but has a western feel and taste because of the BBQ sauce seasoning. When I was a little girl, my darling grandma Genevieve would sing me the song "Ragtime Cowboy Joe". So, this recipe fondly reminds me of her (she turns 90 soon). Hence the recipe's title: Sloppy Cowboy Joes. (A cute video of the song on The Lawrence Welk show is below. Have some good ol' fashioned fun & listen!) Sloppy Cowboy Joes are kid-friendly and great for family get-togethers. Yee Haw!! |
